Dear LYF Parents,
We're excited to have your child at TACL-LYF Camp this year at Marin Headlands! We have a week filled with fun surprises, and we don't want to ruin the suspense by telling you now.
Please arrive on Thursday, June 24th between 2pm-3pm (if you need to make other arrangements, please email us).
On Sunday, June 27th, the counselors invite the parents to attend our Parents' Program from 11am-1pm (light brunch served). While the campers enjoy the end of camp, some counselors will have a prepared discussion about what we did at camp, as well as other topics. What to bring:
- Clothing for ALL forms of weather (it may be hot during the day, though campfire night will be cold)
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Bath towel
- Shower flipflops
- Toiletries (don't forget contact lens cases/solution)
- Waterbottle
- Sunscreen
- Any medication needed
- Flashlight (optional)
Parents: What was your immigration experience like?
At this year's TACL-LYF summer camp, we will be exploring the collective stories and memories of our parents' generation to give our campers a better understanding of the immigration experience, and ultimately, what it means to be Taiwanese American.
We would like to use YOUR story.Please take 20-30 minutes to answer these questions. Some are required, others are optional. We will safeguard your personal information. Your answers do not have to be long, nor does the grammar have to be perfect.
